Declared Missing is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places, organizations, events, and incidents depicted in the game are either products of the authors' imagination or used fictitiously. The facilities, institutions, organizations, personnel, procedures, and events portrayed are fictional and are not intended to represent any real correctional institution, government agency, law-enforcement organization, or individual.
AI transparency
No generative AI is used to create the game’s visual or creative assets, including artwork, characters, environments, textures, models, animation, music, voice acting or other player-facing content. Declared Missing uses a combination of original in-house work and appropriately licensed third-party assets.
AI-assisted tools may be used during software development — for programming, debugging, code analysis, refactoring, implementation assistance and technical research.

Declared Missing uses a combination of original in-house work and appropriately licensed third-party assets, used under the terms of their respective licenses. Attribution required by those licenses is maintained in the game’s credits and accompanying notices.
