Psychological Infiltrator

The Covert

Project Narcissus

Before Blackridge, The Covert won people over by pretending to be exactly who they needed. They used charm, affection, and false vulnerability to gain trust and control others. The Host saw a use for that talent and chose them for an experiment called Project Narcissus.

The treatments made their body muscular and more attractive, but badly damaged their face. They now hide it beneath a wolf-shaped headpiece, with glowing red markings across their chest and upper back. Inside the prison, The Covert can take on the appearance of Survivors they have struck. They use those familiar faces to approach other teammates and set up an ambush. Their greatest weapon is making someone mistake danger for a friend.

“Look at how quickly you ran toward a familiar coat. You never loved them—you only loved the way they made you feel safe.”
