Can I play right now?
There is no public release or public alpha available yet. Join the alpha-interest list to hear about future opportunities. Signing up does not guarantee an invitation.
Which PC platforms are planned?
Windows PC is the initial target. Final store availability, supported Windows versions, hardware requirements and release dates will be announced before public access.
What are the minimum and recommended specs?
System requirements are not final. We will publish tested minimum and recommended specifications before a public release. Do not buy hardware based on work-in-progress footage.
Are controller, Steam Deck, Linux or Mac supported?
Support for these devices and platforms has not been confirmed. Check the requirements provided with any future test build before installing.
Will I need an internet connection?
Declared Missing is being developed as an online multiplayer game. Connection and service requirements will be detailed with playable builds.
Where should I download a build?
Use only a link supplied through an official test invitation or a verified store page linked from this website. We do not currently offer a public installer.
A future test build will not launch. What should I check?
Start with the instructions and known issues supplied with your invitation. Check the requirements, restart the launcher and PC, install official Windows and graphics-driver updates, and use the launcher’s verify-files option if available. Do not disable security software or download replacement DLL files from unknown sites.
How should I report a crash or connection issue?
Email support with the build version, Windows version, CPU, GPU and RAM, steps to reproduce the issue, and the exact error message. Share logs only when requested and remove personal information, tokens and passwords. Never post private test material publicly.
I submitted a signup but did not receive an email.
The current forms record pending interest; automated confirmation and newsletter delivery are not yet enabled. The on-page success message confirms a request was accepted. Alpha interest is not an access code or account registration.
Can I create a player account?
The player portal is currently a preview. Account registration and sign-in are not yet publicly enabled.
How do I remove my information?
Email privacy@declaredmissing.gg from the address you used and say whether you want newsletter interest, alpha interest or both removed. See Privacy choices in the footer for browser-storage details.
