The Digital Resurrection

Victoria Stone was a computer security expert whose partner, Maya, died in a car crash. Unable to let go, Victoria used Maya's saved messages and voice recordings to try to recreate her on a computer. The result could imitate Maya, but it was not the person Victoria had lost.

The Host offered technology that could bring back a version of Maya able to think and feel. The price was Victoria's service inside Blackridge prison. She accepted, hoping for another chance with her partner. Now she uses her hacking skills to help her team. At the prison's terminals, she can work through passwords, disrupt security cameras, and use connected systems to give Survivors an opening.

Deep AccessWhile hacking a terminal, press Q to purge a dud credential from the memory dump (or reveal one password character if no duds remain). Kill SwitchWhile standing at an unlocked terminal, press Q to cut the Hunters' surveillance camera network for 30 s and kick any Hunter off a feed. Trace RouteWhile standing at an unlocked terminal, press Q to ping the camera network and reveal any Hunter within 30 m of a camera for 4 s.

Tier IILevel 5 · Specialization

Steady Hands+1 credential attempt on every terminal you hack. Dud SweepEvery terminal you open starts with one dud credential already eliminated. Fast RebootTerminal lockouts triggered while you are hacking last 50% less time.

Tier IIILevel 10 · Capstone

Safe GuessYour first wrong password guess on each terminal session does not cost an attempt. OverclockYour Tier 1 terminal ability holds 2 charges. Long OverrideDeep Access also restores 1 terminal attempt; Kill Switch lasts 50 s; Trace Route reveals Hunters for 7 s.
